The connected or isolated geographically distinct areas, constitute a network of natural-seminatural areas that safeguards biodiversity, maintains habitats and supports the supply of ecosystem services. It was produced by using a series of indicators and spatial modelling techniques, based on a methodology developed by EKBY in the frame of the H2020 SWOS Project.
